How it is stored
The body is stored upright, on its base, with the cap on: the screen and mount do not rest on the foam. If the case’s foam is too thin for its height, it lies on its back, mount facing up.

- How much clearance does the foam leave around the Sony A7 V?

- Does the case for the Sony A7 V fit as cabin baggage?
- By dimensions: the M case measures 46.2 × 35.5 × 19.2 cm overall, handle and latches included. It fits the 55 × 40 × 23 cm cabin size, a reference size, but not the 55 × 35 × 25 cm size, another reference size. Acceptance also depends on weight, your ticket and your airline’s rules.
- What about the Sony A7 V’s batteries on a plane?

Up to 100 Wh per battery, check the airline’s conditions. Above 100 Wh and up to 160 Wh, its prior approval is required. In the United States, the FAA limits this range to two spares per person. For every flight, also check the total number allowed, whatever the batteries’ energy. Above 160 Wh, these batteries are not accepted in ordinary passenger baggage.
