How do you prepare a photo case around a single zoom?
Start with the two items that define this kit: the R5 and the detached RF 24–105 F4 L IS USM. Then add your own accessories. This example does not reserve a second lens or a battery grip upfront, whose dimensions would change the space needed.
Plan additions before settling the size
A free pocket drawn today must have the dimensions of an item you actually plan to carry. An empty area on screen does not guarantee a future telephoto will fit: length, depth, finger notch and foam walls must all be checked again together.
