Should the body be stored with its lens mounted?
This example keeps two pockets: one for the body and one for the detached zoom. It lets you check each outline separately. If you want to carry them assembled, measure the assembly as a custom item; adding the two spec sheets together does not describe its shape.
Separating the body and the zoom
Separate storage matches this kit’s dimensions. It means remounting the lens before the shoot. A shoot-ready body with cage, handle or cables is a different need: prepare its measurements before choosing the container.
This plan does not include
- XLR handle, cage and baseplate of the body
- Lens hood and lens pouch
- Spare batteries, charger, cards and cables
Lead time and manufacturing
Delivery included: 5 to 6 weeks, or 4 to 5 weeks with express (+€12). Your foam is cut to order, to the dimensions of your plan. Case made in China, designed in France.
Before confirming your layout
- Measure the body in the exact state you will store it, with its cap and the parts you keep on.
- Check the zoom’s length with both caps; the hood needs its own space if stored separately.
- Add every accessory you actually carry before confirming the size; the plan shown does not keep pockets for them.
